Wednesday was a day mostly dedicated to reading and re-reading guidance related to making accordions accessible. If that sounds silly, you’re lucky, and please never go into Web development. If that sounds like pain, it is!
But today has been great so far. I took my lunch hour to take my grandmother to her appointment to deal with The Bad Spot. The doctor was confident that we didn’t need to opt for surgery, and it could be resolved with cryotherapy. He froze the spot and supposedly that’s it!
And in 6-8 weeks, it will either be healed, or then we’ll need to consider surgery.
You know what, I’ll take it. And then we were stuck in traffic for half an hour because there was a rollover crash on the Broken Arrow. Hopefully everyone is safe after that. I didn’t see any “traffic homicide” officers, so I’m assuming they are…
I also had a great not-quite-lunch with a friend and we got to catch up. It was a lovely time! I was really happy to be just on time despite all the traffic.
Now, back to more accessibility work. I could have learned to play the accordion for all this time I’m spending on accordions.
