Busy day at work, but it was really nice to see the work of the LEIC committee featured at this morning’s Berkeley Town Hall! All of our names were on the screen and everyone clapped and it was a really touching moment to be seen and recognised for the work we do. Our lovely leader, Amber, has announced that she is retiring her position as lead to let someone new bring in more fresh ideas on equity and inclusion. I’m equal parts excited and saddened. She has been wonderful to work beside, but I can’t wait to see what’s next – for her, and for the LEIC!
