At least you don’t need Internet for writing

Our Internet connection has been horribly spotty all day, and I do not mean in a Dalmatian way. Random lags, and a maximum speed measured in Kbit/s instead of Mbit/s. I can’t even stream music with Apple Music. It plays a few seconds and then says “Operation timed out”.

Luckily, that isn’t a problem for Spots. My word processor needs no Internet connection, and I have a large library of music on compact disc (CD). So I’ve been rocking out to Halsey’s Badlands and Fall Out Boy’s American Beauty/American Psycho and writing up more scenes. I really do enjoy writing, it’s probably my favourite activity lately. I really need to work on publishing them!

However, it’s going to be quite annoying to try and attend my meetings at the Library today, unless I somehow convince my phone to let me use its Internet connection for Zoom. At least this is Friday. Then the whole weekend is open for fun! (And Uber.)

haha the Dalmatian joke got me. Hope your connection bounces back soon – that Apple Music timeout thing is so frustrating. At least you’ve got your writing and CDs to keep you going!

Haha, the Dalmatian joke got me. At least you’ve got your CD collection to fall back on – that’s actually pretty solid when the internet decides to ghost you.
