Last night I read back some of what I wrote for Arc 23 so I could try to get back into writing some of it. This is one of my favourite stories I’ve written, because it has a wide range of elements that tie together so well. And the world development leads directly into entire other arcs: Who are some of these new characters introduced? Do any of them have a history with the others? What are their true motivations? Since when did Dolly sing?
Unfortunately, other circumstances got in the way and I wasn’t able to write. But re-reading it made me want to write very much – and there’s always the rest of the weekend!
This afternoon I saw some of the Syracuse vs UConn football. It was supposed to be the Cal Bears game, but the other went into overtime. Without really having a connection to either team, it was fun to just watch the game and appreciate both sides.
Also, I’ve started building a castle in our Minecraft world and I think it’s looking really nice! My sweetie is helping by mining things and brainstorming what looks the nicest. It’s been really fun. I miss playing Minecraft with my other friends too. Hopefully I can get on with them too. And I’m still looking for a good way to share the in-progress shots, and finished builds!
