I spent Sunday evening with some dear friends watching a comfort film, The Rescuers. It still holds up, and it still comforts me. There’s been a lot of things happening lately, and I think we could all use a bit of rescuing. If only we had cute little mice to help us.
I did some writing, of both Arc 1 and Arc 26. Seems far apart, but 26 is a “flashback”, so it makes sense if you think about it. I wish I had more time to work on this!
Now I have been at work at the Library on a memory leak issue. It’s certainly not my normal type of work, but it’s been kind of fun to flex these skills. I used to do this sort of work all the time when I worked on Linux systems for a living, so it’s not entirely unfamiliar.
Feeling useful definitely helps me feel better after last week.
