I managed to complete the weekend’s Uber quest and was rewarded with a pretty healthy bonus. That was great for my continued ability to eat! And it’s already almost enough to pay for the server this month so the blog won’t go offline, and that isn’t even due until the 19th.
When I came back from Uber, I hung out in a Discord voice chat with a friend from a Linux server. He showed me a few interesting things to work on for Adélie Linux. It is always fascinating to me to watch other people use the things I am involved in making. They use it differently, and it shows me different ways to make it even better. It is very rewarding.
I was working on my writings into a bit of the early morning hours, when another friend surprised me with a gift. It was something I had been wanting quite a long time, too, so it was lovely to finally receive it!
Speaking of my writings – the final tally of words for the volume I am finishing is now 16,401. And there is still one more scene to tweak. We might hit 17,000.
