I discovered a new (to me) book series that looks really good over last weekend; Robin Cook’s Jack Stapleton & Laurie Montgomery. The first book in the series available in the library was #7, Critical (link earns commission). I’ve read the first three chapters and so far it is a gripping read.
Elsewhere, I was told of a new work on AO3 about a Dalmatian pup into musical theatre. I’m keeping my eyes on this one as it develops. And I got nerd-sniped into listening to Wicked and Razia’s Shadow after reading it, so there’s that. I’m certain everyone is thankful that I don’t have neighbours below me any more. Else they would have heard a nerdy Dalmatian girl caterwauling “There’re wonders like I’ve never seen, it’s all grand and it’s all green, I think we’ve found the place where we belong!” sometime around midnight.
This weekend, I’m Really Truly going to work on Spotcheck. I hope to do more art, too.
