I stayed awake way, way too late last night (or I should say this morning, since it was well after sunrise that I went to bed).
I wrote over 2,000 words for what will now be Arc 14. That was always a “hole”, because what was there before was a story that I didn’t like and didn’t fit with the rest of the series. But right as I was going to sleep, the entire story fell into my head and I had to write it out before I forgot some of it! As a tiny spoiler, it’s the return of Daffodil. She had been away from her family for some time, so she is meeting her new nieces and nephews, reconnecting to her sister, and so on.
There is also a quite touching scene with Dolly at one point as well. She is not the star of the arc, but she definitely lends it a good amount of heart, which is not something that she does lightly! This has also reminded me about the fact I wanted to set up a Tumblr and connect my blog to it somehow. One of my friends told me one of the Dalmatian emoji artists is there and taking requests, and then Arc 14 also introduces Daffodil to her new housing situation.
And I need to clear where she lives with someone on Tumblr.
And I don’t think I’ll clarify that any further until a little later =)
