I’ve been wanting to try my paws at live streaming for a while, but I’ve never really had a good idea on what to do. However, as luck would have it, over the weekend I had two ideas really close together:
Wouldn’t it be fun to practice my sketching by drawing Da Vinci, my favourite puppy from 101 Dalmatian Street? (This definitely goes with the vibes of the trajectory of my life right now.)
Wouldn’t it be fun to do some sort of video for #MARCHintosh, a yearly celebration of retro computing revolving around one of my all-time favourite platforms, the classic Mac?
So here’s my concept: I’m going to do one of those “One Hour Drawing” streams, where I do my best to draw Da Vinci, and I’m going to do be doing the drawing on my Power Mac!
I’m still working out exactly where and how I’ll be able to stream. My goal is to have a feed of the actual display of the Mac, and a feed of my paws on the Wacom tablet. I’m also looking at various platforms – Picarto, YouTube, and Twitch seem the most interesting.
I have worked out the time I’ll do it: Sunday, 29th March – 2pm US Pacific, 4pm US Central, 9pm London. Be sure to follow me here on my blog and/or my Bluesky for more details as they develop!
