There is a great deal of things that I’d like to write about, but now is not the time. Oh dear reader, my life keeps reorganising itself in the strangest and most beautiful of ways. It’s crazy to even think.
It’s not all roses: Mum had a minor health issue, but thankfully it shouldn’t be too serious. And I had to cut last night’s Uber shift short because I was feeling a bit lightheaded and dizzy. I hadn’t eaten enough, and I knew I hadn’t eaten enough, but I thought I’d get through it anyway. Suppose that was a silly idea; c’est la vie.
But it’s mostly roses.
The JavaScript project at work is nearing completion. Requests are flowing with no Yarn in sight! They’re all HTTP 500 errors, but they’re still flowing, so it’s a start. And the upcoming project is a personal passion of mine: more accessibility remediation. And these are going upstream in an open source framework! That means the work we do at the Berkeley Library will benefit other libraries and museums as well. I’m so proud to be a part of this.
I’ve felt a swell of inspiration for some of the happier arcs that I have yet to write. Maybe I can even finish the mythical Arc 1 over the coming weekends! I definitely have the structure in my head for the platform I want to make to publish my writings; all that’s left is to actually write it. I make that sound so easy…
I struggle to quote this, but it’s what’s in my head, and how I feel. Genuinely.
With all I’ve been through, the future can only hold better days.
