I was talking this morning to some mates in a Gentoo space, and they reminded me how important it is to take the time to acknowledge the little things.
It can be very difficult these days to feel like there are still good people around. But there are, and they are everywhere, if you just open your eyes. I see it every day at the Library and every night delivering for Uber.
It’s the patron holding the door open for an older person walking in.
It’s the cashier that double-bags the heavy items and places them in the trolley for you.
It’s the driver that doesn’t just stop for the homeless man, but gives him her takeaway.
It’s the friend pushing the wheelchair with a smile on his face, happy to be spending quality time with his friend.
