I was not, in fact, able to do my caregiving tasks and still make all those morning meetings this morning. Oh my dog. Come on. I went to a restaurant so I didn’t have to bother with food, and they claimed to open at 9, and it was 9:15, and they were still closed. So I went to the post office, and the post office was still closed!
Waiting for everyone to open, when the posted hours showed they should be in fact very open, pushed me an hour later than I already was. I had to have my meetings in the car park of a Target. It was annoying and embarrassing and I don’t know why people can’t just do their job. I don’t enjoy it all the time either, but that’s part of living in a society.
