I am continuing to earn my spots indeed!
I have sent the letter to my grandmother’s doctor to proceed with the treatment that we discussed together as a family for her skin cancer. I also filled out some forms for my own health, which is important to keep up while I’m caring for everyone else.
I fixed two long-standing bugs in Adélie while shopping. I had the laptop in the trolley, haha! This fixes some KDE crashes on PowerPC and also updated Mesa so there is better graphics performance on Intel/AMD systems. Really proud of that, though with the latest stuff happening in the Linux space, I’m a bit peeved. I’ll be writing about that later.
I also wrote 1000 words of Arc 88. Yes, eighty eight. It’s so far in the future compared to my other stories that the world is almost unrecognisable unless you have all my thoughts available to you. But it is still about a group of Dalmatians that live, work, and play together. And it might just contain a few that are familiar, like Renee and/or Dolly…
And as a final small victory, my mum and I were able to hold down Melody long enough to clip her claws. They were growing sharp and pointy, stabbing us when she would cuddle. Not to mention the tiny boo-boo she gave her brother swiping at him! All sorted now.
